Form not moving to the top of the page when next button is click

Asked by yiannisl on May 28, 2013 at 11:16 AM

    Hi,

first of all, congratulations for the great service and product. I am not very advanced with my web authoring. I was looking for a good web form service that can integrate well and easily with my website template.

Jotform has done just that. I will start with testing interest but expect to be using your service quite extensively.

I have a question. I have used one of the available templates to create a form. It works well and it integrates very well with Google spreadsheet. The only thing that does not work well is when I click on the "next" or "submit" buttons, the form progresses to the next stage (next section of form, or thank you for submitting page), however it stays scrolled to the bottom of the page. It should be refreshing to the next section AND default to the top of the page.

It does not look right that the user needs to scroll up after progressing to the next section. When I first reached the thank you page, I thought the form was stuck, as it was scrolled to the bottom and it was showing a blank page. I then scrolled up to see there is a thank you picture/note.

Can you please help me with fixing this? I only have one form in My Forms, so you should be able to access it

    Thank you

    Yiannis

    Hi Yiannis,

Your current form embed codes may prevent this function from working. To bring back the form to top when they click "next", you should embed your form using our iframe method: How to Get Form iFrame Codes. Our iframe method is updated and design to work with Page Break's "back to top" function.

Also, let us know the webpage to where the form is embedded so we can check.

    Thank you!
