Unable to submit the form due Quota overlimit error

    Hello,

    We are a non-profit animal rescue, and no longer allowing walk-in traffic due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

    Because we are encouraging people to fill out the adoption form rather than coming to our location, we have run over our quota!

    Can it be reset, or the quota raised?  This will help us get in contact with families looking to adopt dogs and cats.

    Hello Todd,

    I can see that the account is on over limit as the monthly submission limit is at 108 and the total submission storage is at 501.

    Yes, we can provide you assistance by raising the quota, but could you let us know approximately, how many submission would you be requiring (like a projected usage) so that we can increase it accordingly on your account?

    I could imagine the usage doubling, now that we have had to temporarily close our doors to walk-ins.  If that's possible for no extra charge, that would be amazing.  If that's too much, we'll take whatever we can get!  The dogs and cats (and the volunteers) are grateful!!!

    We have increased your monthly submission quota by another 100 submissions. But please note that your total submission storage count is currently at 501. We are unable to increase that count. So you will need to download and delete your old submissions from your forms, which will reset this total submission count.

    It seems that our quota has not reset this month, as of May 1st? Or did we max out our total submission storage?
    Unfortunately nobody at the rescue seems to know the password to the account, so I am unable to log in and verify for myself.
    Please advise, we are no longer able to get animals adopted through online requests!

    I checked your account and it seems that the submission limit has been reset:

    Please go to the Login Page, click Forgot Password then enter the email address you want the confirmation email to go to recover the password.

    Nobody at the rescue knows the main username and password to log into JotForm. The problem is too many volunteers, and too many volunteers come and go over the years. So that information is now lost.
    Can the forms all be copied to my account? I’m toddtt@optonline.net. I feel like I saw that option somewhere.
    Unless you have another suggestion to get us back up and running.
    Is there phone support, or only email?

    Can you please confirm first that you were referring to a different account with username almosthome10

    When I checked on the website you mentioned previously, I noted that the form used on the website was from a different account.

    Can the forms all be copied to my account?

    You will need access first to the account that owns the form and make request to transfer the forms from the account (i.e. your account TripleT223)

    The other account is still on over quota because it exceed the Total Storage limit of the account. 

    If you have access to the email of the other account, you can reset the login password using the email.

    Hello,
    We tracked down who the user was that created the Jotform account and the forms for our non-profit animal rescue years ago.
    A “Greg K.” with email kuhn2@****.edu. Apparently he is no longer contactable by the rescue.
    So the request I’m hoping you can help with is to move (or copy) the forms to support@almosthomeli.org, or to my “toddtt” Jotform account.
    If you can only copy the form definitions that is okay.
    Unless you have another suggestion to get our animal rescue back up and running, as soon as possible! Can we be bumped to Bronze or have the 500 limit increased temporarily?
    Is there phone support, by the way? This would be easier to resolve over the phone, I imagine.

    Hello Todd,

    Could you let us know what you mean by form definitions.

    If you want to copy the forms into your account, you can do so at your end too. Just clone the forms into your account using the instructions mentioned in this guide: How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL Cloning will not move the responses/submissions into your account.

    Other than that if you want to move the forms into your account, we will need to receive the form transfer request from the account "almosthome10".

    If you have access to the email address kuhn2@****.edu you could reset the password and access the account.

    In order to upgrade this account to Bronze, you will need to log into the account "almosthome10".

    If all these options don't work, we could try increasing the total submission count on this account. Please let us know how many total submissions you would require.

    We don’t have access to Greg, or his kuhn2 email anymore. :(
    I assumed you could not transfer submissions, so by form definitions I meant clone the forms.
    I did not know I could clone them myself, and I will try to do that as a long term solution. That sounds perfect!
    As a short term solution, because we are dead in the water, yes please increase our submission count to 750 or 1000 if possible.

    Thank you. Will the change take effect soon, because it still says over quota. I will keep checking, hopefully there is just a delay somewhere in the system.

    We’re back in business, thank you sir. I am also trying out the cloning that you suggested, and running into some issues, but maybe it is user error. I will try the cloning again tomorrow. Thank you for all of your help.

    Please let us know the form URL that you are trying to clone. We will check from our end too if the form is clonable or not or it has some settings enabled and is not clonable.

    These are the pages. If it is the specific jotform form URL that is required, I’ll have to try and get that info from our web volunteer.

    Thanks again for your help! It has helped us continue to get animals adopted!
    Now that the forms have been successfully cloned, can the same limits that were granted to the old account (“almosthome10”) be granted to new account (“AlmostHomeLISupport”)?
    You had graciously raised the form submission limit to help us during increased animal adoptions due to COVID-19. I’m not sure what the submission limit was raised to, but it was greater than 100.

    The monthly submissions limit and total submission storage limit increase granted to your almosthome10 account have now been moved to your new account, AlmostHomeLISupport.
