Question about File Size Specificiations while Uploading into Dropbox

Asked by roxxstar on May 28, 2013 at 01:37 PM

Hi, im confused, if JOTFORM has a 1GB upload limit on files, then why only 9 files are showing up in my dropbox folder. Is the limit 1gb OR 9 files?

And if it is 9 file limit to DROPBOX, is it the same limit to BOX?

To my knowledge our file upload limit is as mentioned which is 1gb. However, you should be able to upload several files at a time as far as I know. But keep in mind that there are known issues with dropbox if the combined file size of the uploaded batch of files exceeds 300mb when sending the data into Dropbox.

Does your 9 files exceed 300mb?

What files are you trying to upload? What type of file are each of them? What's the file size for each?

Sorry but the 9 files you've mentioned is part of the current Dropbox Limit. Our current integration can only pass 10 files to your Dropbox account, 9 from the uploaded files plus the submissions PDF file so that's 10 files in total.

Please consider using Box.com integration for now as they don't have limits on the number of uploaded files as per mentioned on the other thread
