    Hello,

I've created a test form here https://form.jotform.com/200482792765362?val-c=1&val-n=2 with two url parameters.

The fields inside the forms are called differently. The first is called "val-cod" and the second is called "val-num", but if I click on the link above, the form prepopulates same fields.

Why? (In my opinion this is an error)

    Thanks. Regards.

I did test your form and see the issue. The unique name of the form field is "val-cod" and "val-num" but the fields are still being populated with URL parameter "val-c=1" & "val-n=2" respectively.

I am escalating this issue to our backend team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update form them.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. The statement you provide isn't a bug, to the contrary, it's a feature. If you name your fields something below three characters, it will get strictly checked. But for the opposite case, it will match the first field that includes the parameter you provide. So, "val-c" will become "val-cod" and like "val-cod" "val-n" will become "val-num".

Hope I made it clear for you. Kind regards.
