I cannot find the gear icon

there is no gear icon, so this doesn't work.

You can find the gear icon when you select the email field on the form builder. Please follow these steps:

1. Go to your form builder: https://www.jotform.com/build/52372723460957

2. Click on the email field which you want to add a confirmation

3. You can find the gear icon there:
