Can I create multiple options for Purchase Order totals?

Asked by Spoonie79 on June 01, 2013 at 03:05 PM

    Hello,

I am starting to create purchace order forms for my printing website and wanted to know if it is possible to create scoling options that will show in the total at the end. I left a screenshot of exactly what I mean.

What Im running into is, I dont have that many products (about 20 in total) but there are alot of different options WITHIN those product that would effect the total cost.

The only way I can see achieving what Im going for is treating each size WITHIN the Product as a new product.

    For example:

Main product, Postcards (I'll make a product page on my website just for Postcards to embed the form.)

New Product: 4 x 6 size, options: quantity, paper, double or single side, turnaround time, shipping cost

New Product: 5 x 7 size, options: quantity, paper, double or single side, turnaround time, shipping cost

New Product: 6 x 11 size, ..... and so on

Then make another page on my site for Brochures, and repeat the process.

If it is a way for me to create a form like the screenshot..OR another workaround that you can suggest it would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

From your detailed descriptions, I would like to suggest checking this guide first

    How-To-Add-Options-In-The-Payment-Form

Does the payment options applicable to your requirement?

I am refering to the Add Custom Property with Sub-Total

II. Add a Custom Property to Item
    1. Select the product/item. Click on Add New Option
    2. Select Add a Custom Property option
    3. Click on Next button
    4. Start adding the product/item custom property options
    a. Add Name to the custom option
    b. Add the Options lists
    c. Check Special Pricing option to allow custom price for each custom property
    d. Click Next button to continue

Hope this help. Continue updating us if you have further input/details to share.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestions, it has help and I will keep these tips on record.

Im kind of working around to what Im trying to achieve.

Heres and example form that I did (kind of a practice one before I create the real one)

    http://form.jotform.us/form/31435744202143

What Im stuck at is, how many options can I add a price to per item to?

So for example in the form, I had to make "Rush turnaround" a new item because i couldn't add anymore pricing to the "Standard Business Cards" product. I've seen that I can add pricing to quantites, could I add another pricng option like size to that same product (Different sizes would be a different cost) ?

    Hi,

What Im stuck at is, how many options can I add a price to per item to?

-You can only add "one" special pricing option per item. You have added the quantity property with special pricing option, maybe because of the number of the items they can have for the specific pricing set?

Unfortunately, that's the only function our Payment Wizards can do (for now). You may consider using your current payment settings by adding the special pricing set as a product item.

Or, I suggest to open a separate thread requesting such additional function when adding special pricing options so we can forward that to our developers. However, the implementation may not be possible and, or the request may be declined for some reason.

    Thanks

"You have added the quantity property with special pricing option, maybe because of the number of the items they can have for the specific pricing set?"

-Yes, Im selling bulk printing (business cards, postcards, flyers..ect), so the prices of the products increase depending on the quantity and print size chosen.

I was trying to have special pricing on more than 1 option (quantity AND print size), but you answered my question that it is not possible right now.

I'll keep going with the current solution for a workaround.

Thanks for your help Welvin, as well as Jonathan!
