can jot form scan files for viruses?Asked by testevolution on June 04, 2013 at 05:01 PM
can jot form scan files for viruses?
I am afraid No, we don't do virus scanning on files uploaded via your forms. You are responsible for checking the files uploaded on your own forms.
If you do not allow potential virus-carrying files anyway on the file type allowed on your form such as (.exe, .vbs, etc...) there should be little to no chance that you'll receive an infected file. We highly suggest that you should practice extreme caution before opening files.
My suggestion would be to install an anti-virus software on your computer to (locally) check files you download (from JotForm's server) for viruses, etc.
If you have further questions or inquiry kindly let us know.
