    Custom thank you message is elongating vertically after user submits the form

    Asked by mjschindlernd on June 05, 2013 at 03:30 PM

    Our custom thank you message is in the footer of our site (which is not live yet so I can't give you the URL).

    We embedded it using the Wordpress embed code.

    Here is a screenshot of the form before a user submits it:

    Here is a screenshot of the same part of the footer immediately after a user submits the form:

    As you can see, the form has suddenly elongated itself and the footer.

    The html code of the message is very siimple and does not have extra space at the bottom.  Here is a screenshot:

    Why is this vertical elongation happening, and what can we do to stop it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Please kindly correct the images as we can't see them in our end.

    Please try to edit the source of your Thank You Message by clicking on the Source Button > Remove the codes and replace this one:

    <div style="text-align: center; float: left;">

    <h1>Thank You!</h1>

    We have received your subscription request and will be in touch with you soon.</div>

    This will still place the word "Thank You" centered but the whole area to the left. Let us know if this resolves the issue.

    Here's a shot of what it looks like before it is submitted:

    The change in the message code that you suggested does not change the way this works.

    Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused. Have you tried already embedding your form code into your website using iFrame method? If not, can you please give a try? It would be much easier for us to investigate the issue if your website is live now.

    Thank you!
