I deleted "labels of your question" but when I put it into my website they are shown.

    Hello everyone,

    The title pretty says it all. Yesterday everything worked completely fine and I was delighted. But today an error occured and tried the search function but sadly I haven't found a soloution. 


    I want a form without labels next to my textboxes. I delete the text in the form and in the preview is everything fine. No labels are shown. But when I take a look on my website they are suddenly there, although I haven't entered any text there.

    You might need to refresh your browser and clear your cache to see the changes. Also, if you can send the URL of the webpage where this form is embedded, we'll be able to assess your issue further.

    Hello Torben,

    I have checked your form and it does not show anything that says "labels of your question".  Are you still seeing it in your end?  If so, can you provide us a screenshot of it?

    It may also help if you can refresh your page or remove your cache or temporary internet files.

    Heya all of you,

    Firs things first, thanks for your answers. Sadly I wasn't able to fix it yet. I deleted my cache in three different browsers and tried it with no success. Here's a screenshot of the problem : 



    There might be a problem with the save function. When I take a look at the preview in my browser everything is fine. But when I switch to another form and switch back to this, the labels are back in business. The same happend now to my other form who was working before, so my problem kind of doubled.

    Hi Torben,

    Thanks for the update and we're sorry for the continued inconvenience.

    I hope I'm understanding your concern correctly. You want to remove the labels on the left side of the form fields, am I right? If yes, a workaround that you can do is to replace all of the field labels by a space (press spacebar once). And then ensure that the form is saved properly. The resulting form should be something like this - http://www.jotform.com/form/10753858162?

    This is the way I wanted it and the space thing worked out perfectly! Thanks a lot :-)!! But you have to do it in the property window, when I entered the space the "easy way" it did not.

    Alternatively, you may hide the labels in your form by injecting this css code:

    label {
        visibility: hidden;

    To inject css refer to this user guide: Inject Custom CSS

    This solution can save a lot of time especially if you have a lot of fields in your form.

    I just ran into this same problem. I was happy to find the solution on the Forum. However, the point that was made was that the solution only works when using the property editor. It does not work when updating the label on the form. Is this planned to be fixed? Thanks

    Hope the your long weekend has been great so far! Sure, we can have this fixed so that it will work when you edit the form itself. But we cannot commit to a specific delivery date at the moment. For now, please have it done in the Property editor.
