Is There a Date Widget That Can Disallow FUTURE Dates?

Asked by technologypainkillers on June 06, 2013 at 10:49 PM

I see two date picker widgets, one that emphasizes birthdays, and one that's a general date picker.

The general date picker has a configuration setting that permits me to disallow PAST dates, but there is no provision for disallowing FUTURE dates.

Ironically, the birthday picker does not prevent future dates.  I know some C-Sections are planned, but one would expect 99.9% of the uses of this widget to be for specifying a birth date in the past. ;)

One of my form questions is asking explicitly for a date in the past, but I cannot configure either of these widgets to prevent a future date.

    Please, advise.

    Thank you! :)

    Respectfully,

    Mike Strong

You can apply conditional logics "AFTER" or "BEFORE"  to the date pickers

For example, I have made this test form so when someone chooses a date after 2012-12-31 , a warning message will show up (I used a Free Text HTML field for the message)

I hope this sorts out your requirement

    @ technologypainkillers

We also have implemented a new feature on regards to your request

     Conditionals logic: Use comparative dates
You can now prevent your users to submit the form if the dates are not between the date range so you can hide the submit button if the dates do not match the time range
