How can I get the unique ID (in the power tools) to display in the e-mail notification sent by jot form?

    Hi,

    The new unique ID tab in power tools is just what I was looking for but I need it to be in the e-mail notification that is sent by jot form.  I tried putting it in the subject and the body but it just comes up blank on the emails. 

     

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Can you tell me which particular form you are having problems with? I inspected your forms and found 3 of them that use unique ID. I also checked if the {identifiers} for the unique ID are properly inserted in your alert email templates. Everything seems to be in place so I tested one of those forms and I got this email message:

     

    As you can see Ref No. is perfectly showing in the email subject line so I think nothing's wrong with your email alert setup.

    Can you try making a test submission to your form again and see if it's still broken?

    Thank you for posting your concern. Do you mean the field appears in the email notification but with a blank value, or does the field not appear at all?

    I tried to replicate the issue you described but failed to do so. I was able to see the Unique ID # in the email notification sent by JotForm whenever a new submission arrives.

    Please ensure that the Unique ID field is properly set up in the email ntoification template such as the one below:
