Any plans to add a Color Picker?

Asked by helpfulnerd on June 13, 2013 at 04:25 AM

First I want to say that I love JotForm. I'm a web designer and developer and I use it on my site. And I refer your service to my clients for their form needs.

I recently put together a form to collect information from my clients that order my Logo Design package online.

Once they make their payment via PayPal they are sent to a Confirmation page with a jotform embeded on that page. The form basically collects the information I need to brief my design staff for that project.

The one element I would love to add to this form is a color picker, actually I would love to add three of them in a row to have them select a Primary Color, Secondary Color and Accent Color.

Even though I collect the info I need to design their logo I still have to manually contact them and ask for color preferences.

Just a friendly suggestion to add another cool feature to an already great product.

Hi, Thanks for your love with jotform. Ya, "Color Picker Field" it will be a good feature to add. It will be usefull for Arts and Design related form.

I open a feature request ticket for you.

In the mean time since you are a desiger and developer, did you ever tried to add this "color picker" to your form with some workarounds?

Because, I think you can do this by downloading the source code and adding some codes to it.

Feel free to ask if you have any clarification.

    Thank you.
