My Jotform is not appearing in Internet Explorer but appears in both Chrome and Firefox without a problem. I can however click compatabilty mode in Explorer to get it to appear(where it says that mode is better for websites designed for older browsers.)
What is the reason for this? My website is not designed for older browser, at least not that I'm aware of?
It's a Wordpress site and I'm using the code I copied from your site for Wordpress, pasted into the html window in Wordpress. I've never had problems doing that before.

I can see still access and view your form on older IE8 browser without using compatibility mode.
But we do suggest to try refrain using much older versions of browsers, because older browsers are also not supported anymore by its owner (example IE8 and older are no longer supported by Microsoft)
If you are still having issue for older browser, you can also try re-embedding your form in your WP page using its iframe code (guide: -Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code)

I'm sorry I don't think I made myself clear.
I'm not having problems in older browsers. I'm having problems in the newest Internet Explorer (in which I have to use compatability mode which is designed to use with websites designed for older browsers.)
So the problem is not when I'm using old browsers but new.
Now a customer of mine, claims to not see the jotform on any of her browsers(firefox, chrome, explorer, safari), both at her home(Apple) and at her job(Windows).
This gets me worried, thinking how many others are encounting this problem :/ it seems to be a random hit and miss these days?

Unfortunatelly, I am not able to reproduce the issue your customer claims to have. I can view your form just fine on any browser on at least 3 different PC already.
The form actually is more designed with compatibility on newer browsers. With IE browsers, the usual incompatibilty issue we encountered are those that uses olders versions (IE7 and down). On this cases we usually recommend upgrading the browser's version as the support is now limited for the older versions.
Just to highlight on newer IE9 and IE10, which I thought was your original issue mentioned. The screens below shows I can see your form just fine with incompatibility mode ON or OFF.
To better help you on your customer's encountered issue, will you be able to get screenshots and more details from them how they were able to see the problem? Can you ask them if there is any error message or significant indicator that is not normal when they view other websites using the same browser?
