    Sharing the form

    Asked by Lindsay8855 on June 19, 2013 at 01:04 PM

    Hello!

    I have questions about sharing the form.  We want to do a contest where our clients submit pictures.  When I found out about JotForm I was so excited since you guys support file uploads!!  I have created the form and we might put it on our website, but what I really want to be able to do is send out a URL (maybe a tiny URL) and a QR code.  We are sending out a mailer to our clients this summer.  Under the source option thing, I picked email and had it sent to myself so that I got a URL.  My question is - Can I print that URL on our mailer?  Can I convert it to a tinyurl?  And make a QR code for it and print that as well?  Is that URL specific to whoever I email it to or can it be used again and again?

    As you can probably tell, I am not a webmaster and I don't know about all of this stuff.   Thanks so much!!

    @Lindsay8855

    You can send form URL to your users in your mailers. Form URL will remain same for all user and doesn't have to change.

    I have not understood your QR code requirement. Please explain what you want to achieve with this quick response codes?

    Thanks,

    Sidharth

    I just want to use the QR code so that they don't have to type in the URL.  They can just scan the code and go directly to the form.

    Okay understood. I dont see any issue in converting your form URL to QR code and share that.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
