    Padding on Address Form

    Asked by brianpensinger on June 01, 2010 at 10:23 PM
    How do I add extra padding beneath each text box in the address form? Right now, as default, it hugs the text box and I want to give a little room to it.

    Here is a picture of what I mean.
    Form Padding

    PS I did the "Download Zip" so I could customize all of the CSS.

    I would recommend using Firofox Firebug. You can click on anything on the page and it will show exactly which CSS needs to be modified to change it. You can also change it right on the browser and see how it looks. Then you can apply it to the code.

    Give it a try, if it does not work please post link to the page where you have this problem and I can look at it for you.

    Hey Aytekin,
    I am not too experienced with CSS (as you may tell), but I think I know enough to find stuff and make edits.

    I found the padding for the boxes, but that doesn't space the text out.

    http://www.brianpensinger.com/extended-resume/request.html is the location. If you could take a look over, I would be very greatful!

    On form.css, find ".form-sub-label {", then add this line:
    margin-top: 5px;
