My dilema was that I wanted to have each box in a checkbox field export a "Y/N" to a separate column when exported to Excel so I can filter by each. Instead of all the text from everything checked.
Seems the best way I can find to do this is to make single option checkbox questions for each of the 10 options. But then it looks bad because there is so much vertical space between the options. I know how to change spacing for all the questions but not just for a few.
What's the best way to handle this within Jotform. I have to turn this over to someone non-techie at some point and I'd rather it was hosted on Jotform since they don't have a website currently.

Try injecting this custom css code in your form:
1. Go to Setup & Embed tab
2. Cllick Preferences button in the toolbar
3. In the Preferences window, click Form Styles
4. Click on the Inject Custom CSS textarea, then copy the codes provided above
Hope you find this post useful. Feel free to contact us again if you have other questions.

Thanks NeilVincinte but that doesn't do what I'm looking for. That tightens up the space between the checkbox options within a question. I want to use multiple one option checkbox questions and make it look like a "normal" checkbox question where the checkbox options are single spaced. I know I could change the spacing between ALL the questions but that would make the rest of the form look bad. Just need it to affect a subset of questions.
I think unfortunately I'm going to have to embed it to a web page if I want to do this.
Unless someone has a different way to get each of the checkboxes to export to it's own column when sent to Excel.

I apologize if I misunderstood your question. I was trying to look for a form in your account which has the Yes/No question to visualize what exactly it is that you're talking about, since you did not specify which form you're having issues with.
Unfortunately there is not a way for options in a single checkbox field to have their own columns in the submissions page/excel reports, because those options are treated as a single field.
Now, I can definitely help you with the spacing of the multiple checkbox fields but I need to have the form readily made, as the only solution to changing the spacing of individual fields requires the specific id's for the fields, as each form element has a unique id which is used for applying a style onto it.
It sounds confusing but I hope you're following me. Please finish your form and I'll give you the workaround to what you're trying to achieve. I'll await your reply. Thank you.
