In a matrix with 3 columns, I need the first 2 to be text fields and the third one to be a drop down list.
I originally asked here http://www.jotform.com/answers/14661-Can-I-have-more-than-one-input-type-in-a-matrix?entrymessage=10732640770 but was told to create a separate thread.
If this hasn't been updated and can only be done via html please let me know.

On our matrix field, there is no way to have or add mix type of field on it. The only possible to achieve that is by modifying form source code. Here's the guide on how to get your form source code: http://www.jotform.me/help/104-How-to-get-your-Form-Source-Code

Can you post your findings on this? I need to do a similar thing in my matrix

We suggest you to create a separate thread for your question especially when requesting any further assistance from the Support Team. This way, we can focus on your thread.
