[Rich Text Editor] Form temporarily appears on IE 8, then disappears

Asked by BCCCC on June 27, 2013 at 03:09 PM

I have a form that is working fine in Chrome, and Firefox.  When I go to the page in IE 8, the form flashes on the screen for a minute, and then disappears (though the place holder is still there).  I tried Compatibility View.  I tried replacing the source code with iFrame code.  I tried putting div around the code (from this page:  http://www.jotform.com/answers/190887-Form-not-showing-up-in-some-browsers-firefox-ie-8-or-9) .

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for contacting us.

The problem is related to the 12th question on your form. It is set to have a Rich Text editor, and it looks like that there is some conflict between this option and IE8.

Please switch the Text Area field to some other than Rich Text edit mode.

The problem has been escalated to our Developers, and we will get back to you as soon as we have any updates.

Thanks SO much.  That fixed the problem.  I didn't even realize I had selected a Rich Text editor.

Let me know when that Rich Text Editor is fixed.

    Thanks again,
