Payment field not following conditions set

I have conditions set on the payment widget (to not display nor require) based on answers to previous questions and it doesn't appear to functioning

Unfortunately, your payment field is set as required upon submission. However, you can pass a calculation to a payment field using Form Calculation Widget and conditional logic. I made a sample form for your reference.

I don’t understand why the payment field is set as required? I don’t have it required in the widget, and it shouldn’t even be displaying to the user.

I have cloned your form and found out a possible workaround to the issue.

Please try to hide the payment field by clicking the link.

Unfortunately, there is no way to associate user selections with the form products. You may consider calculating the Total amount based on user selections and forwarding it to the payment Total.
