I saw an example on the forum where there was HTML put in the options properties box. That opens up some new thinking for me! For one, I believe there's some HTML that will let you submit different text value for the field than the text describing the checkbox option. Is there a format I can use to add this to a Jotform?
[box] I have read the rules and I agree to follow them.
Checking the box would send a "Y" to the database (blank or N for no check?) instead of putting "I have read the rules and I agree to follow them" in the database.

I believe that that is not possible. The displayed option text is written in the source code as <label>option</label>, so any codes you type in place of option will not affect the value of the checkbox that is submitted.
Hope this post answers your question. Thank you for using Jotform.
