Security Question

    Hello,

I am looking at switching to JotForm from another provider and have a few security questions.

I do not want completed forms emailed to customer's as pdfs or links that could be intercepted by an outside party.

Does JotForm require the form completer to log into the JotForm website to complete the form?

Can I set completed forms so that they are not automatically emailed to the people who complete them?

I want the forms to stay either within your website or email from a separate Secure Email platform that I use.

    Thanks!

I would like to answer your question in the same sequence.

    1. I do not want completed forms emailed to customer's as pdfs or links that could be intercepted by an outside party.

Sure, you have an option to send the form submission details as a pdf which is turned off by default. Here is a help guide for more details.

It is not required for the user to login into JotForm website to complete the form

    3. Can I set completed forms so that they are not automatically emailed to the people who complete them?

Yes, you can turn off email notification if you are not willing to send any notification to user once the form is completed.

    Vick,
Thanks for the thorough answer and links. One other question … what is the simplest way to create a dropdown box with several options? Is it with a widget? For example, user provides a phone number and I want to know what type of phone (e.g., mobile, home, or work).
    Thanks,
    Joshua
