Barcode for a field's value

    How can I get Jotform to read a social security number and populate the field as a barcode?

    Unfortunately, generating a barcode is currently not possible on Jotform. We do not have a widget that will let you generate a barcode based on a field's value. The only widget we have that is close to your specification is the Dynamic QR Code widget, although I understand that may not be what you are looking for.

    Another possible way is to use a 3rd party service for a barcode generator or a barcode script and embed it on your form's full source code. However, this will require you to embed the form's source code to your own custom webpage.

    Now, if you plan to use the Dynamic QR Code widget instead, here's a workaround I came up with:

    1. Add the SSN field to the form

    2. Add the said widget just below the SSN field then map it to the widget:
