How to download my form data so that it is readable?

My form is functioning and I am able to read responses in the inbox. However, the download option is grey-ed out and when I download the data from the Submissions in excel or csv it is all a random string of numbers and letters. The same thing happens when I try to look at the data in Form Analytics or with an integration to a google doc, asana, etc.

    How do I solve this?

Here is a photo of what the inbox download button and my excel looks like:

It appears that your form is encrypted. If that is correct, then the only way you can access your form submissions is if you provide the correct encryption key.

When you access the submissions page of your form you will be required to provide the encryption key you set up in your form when you enabled your form's Encrypt Form feature.

If you are not being asked to provide the encryption key, I would suggest that you try clearing your web browser's cache first.
