Option to view subscriber details in Jotform

It's a bit annoying that we can't see details of a subscribers 'plan' with their upcoming payments etc. - i can understand there is limited API between jotform and Square - but it would be nice to see scheduled upcoming payments in jotform somewhere - surely that info is stored in the background to be able to schedule payments?

My main question being is able to tell a subscriber when their next (and subsequent payments) will be taken. If a new subscriber submits a form on the 1st of the month for example - and i have chosen 'monthly' as the payment frequency, will all subsequent payments be on the 1st or is it a set 30-day period?

    thanks, Mark

To clarify, do you want to view a table or an option in JotForm to view your subscriptions in Square?

We can forward a feature request to our developers. Kindly share more information on how would you like this feature to work.

I have moved your main question to a new ticket to assists you better.

Thanks for getting back to me.

    Yes, that would be handy.

I would imagine some kind of table with:

Contact name, subscription name/type, next payment date, latest received payment date, number of remaining payments, final payment date.

Something where I could easily see that I have 'X' number of subscribers and if any of them ask "when is my next payment due?" or "when is my last payment?" we could easily look up this info for them.

    thanks

    Mark

Hello Mark - I'm not sure if that's possible since we're only sending data to the payment processor or Square and they are the ones that process the payments.

You can also see the customers or subscription information in your Square dashboard, please check this guide: How-do-I-work-with-Square-Subscription-and-cancel-it-in-JotForm

Please check the guide, I think it's similar to the requirements you mentioned.

    Hi jherwin,

    I'm a bit confused...

Is the part of my question relating to knowing when the next payment is due on a different thread now?

I understand that Square holds the user card/account information and is able to display previous payments BUT I thought JotForm makes the request for subsequent payments by API using the 'charge card on file' method?  therefore JotForm would have some information stored about users and dates to be able to make these future collections.

I really just wanted to be able to see when the next scheduled payment would be and thought I'd be able to see this in Jotform or Square.

If a monthly subscription is chosen, which date on the following month will the card be charged?  As an end user I'd like to know that information.

Yes your other question was moved to a different thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2362158

If a user selects monthly payment and submit payment on Jun 02, 2020, next subscription payment will be due on Jul 02, 2020.

I am creating a feature request ticket to create a list page for all active subscriptions, user details with their payment schedule and escalating it to our backend team. Please note that creating a feature request ticket does not ensure that it will be implemented. It completely depends upon the feasibility and priority of our backend team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.
