    Dreamweaver breaks conditions in ie

Asked by cmoore on April 28, 2011 at 02:51 PM

Please, please help! My form has conditions to show/hide that are essential. When previewing the form in ie and firefox from my JotForm page it displays perfectly. However, when I copy the source into Dreamweaver and preview it looks fine in firefox but the show hide conditions do not function in ie (leaving all the fields visible). Am I doing something wrong? I needed to have this form on my site yesterday and am in a real bind. Any help would really be appreciated.

    Hi,

Your conditions aren't broken. Whenever you run a locally-saved html file, IE blocks any kind of script (including JavaScript) embedded on that file and shows a security warning.

Click on that warning, then choose Allow Blocked Content. Your form's conditions should work flawlessly.

I hope this post answers your questions. Let me know if there's anything else.

    Regards,
    Neil
