Duplicate Emails Being Sent

    Lately we have been having an issue where a single email notification of a Form will be sent to user more than once. It would look like the user sent the same form response twice, but they really only sent it once.

    Some times the duplicate emails are days apart.

    At first we thought they were edits but this is not the case. It is the same exact response.

    Seeing that this form is for tool ordering, the same order could be made twice on accident. We need to resolve this issue.

    We apologize for inconvenience. I reviewed the form you mentioned and I noted that the Notification Email was set to send the submission emails to multiple Recipient Emails.

    On the specific form, there were 5 recipient emails, which means 5 submission emails will be sent from the form (1 to each recipient). 

    Can you please check also if the duplicate notification email was to the same recipient email. Perhaps the recipients were actually different although the notification was days apart.

    Another possibility is if one of the recipient email have a filter or email rule that automatically send the copy of the email to the other recipients.

    The duplicate submissions problem is now resolved. We added some preventive measures to help deter unwanted resubmissions of the previous entry. This should not happen again.
