Summer Camp registration for multiple kids in one family

Hello - we use a Jotform for Summer Camp registration. A form is required to be filled out for each child. It's a very lengthy form, so if a parent has more than one child they want to sign up, they have to complete the form twice. This is required.

My question is... is there a way for the person submitting the first child to be able to have a new form come up with most of the same information in it already filled out?

For example - Linda has two kids (Timmy and Suzie). They live in the same home with Linda. So the address, phone, insurance information, etc. will all be the same for each registrant. The only items that would be different are the campers names, birth date, allergies, etc. that Linda would have to change.

As the form is already long enough... I don't want Linda have to re-enter much of the same information. But I reiterate that there MUST be two separate submissions. Both kids cannot be registered for the camp under one submission.

    Thanks!

This is possible to do passing the data over the form URL, this will allow you to pre-fill certain fields using the form URL, note that this workaround is a bit complex so I would recommend you to kindly carefully check this guide for more details: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

The guide is about passing the data to another form, instead of using a different form you will use the same one.

Once you have the link with the pre-filled data, you can provide this to the user so he can use the same link to add a new submission, this will also create different submissions.

I was also looking for a different workaround on this, but I'm afraid there is no other way to achieve it.

Let us know if you have any questions.
