Upload File Validate Image Function Not Working

Asked by markashton on July 03, 2013 at 09:20 AM

Who tests this stuff? On taking an image on an iphone ... uploading the image does not happen ... states jpg is not a valid file type ... only supports jpg, jpeg, png ...

Can you test this please by taking a photo on an iphone 4 and see if it uploads

    Thanks Mark

Hi Mark, I'm sorry to hear this is giving you trouble. Our developers test it and we do as well often when we before we release New Features. And also when we are troubleshooting them during previous problems to get fixed we then often check it again to try our best to prevent future problems.

I've tested this via my iPhone 4S (iOS 6.1.3) by uploading an Image File and it looks like it is working fine since I can see the Image Validated on my end.

    Screenshot w/Image Validation:

If you would like with your permission I will send it also to make sure that it goes through completely.

May I ask where you were seeing this problem happen? Was it just on iPhone 4? What iOS used?

Let's leave this. I'll try and reproduce the error later. Not the end of the world

No problem Mark. I will also look into it some more later myself just to double-check it again.
