Is it possible to use Paypal Payment on a form on edit ?

    Hi,

One of my forms was intended to pre-filled certain info for users.

Everything is fine except it does not seem to be able to use Paypal on edit.

I guess payment submission is only allowed once ?

But I was trying to use condition to disable Paypal for the first fill in, so the payment field will get enabled only with the edit.

However it still does not work -- the paypal is not working on edit.

So is there any way to use Paypal on a form on edit ?

And here's the sample for an edit form: 4670830765128280949

Your help and advise would be very helpful.

    Many thanks.

Unfortunately, the payment integration cannot work on edit URL. What you can do is to have two forms, so when the form is submitted, the data is passed to a second form that contains the payment field: https://www.jotform.com/help/351-How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

Let us know if you need more help.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for your advise.

The thing is this form is used as a workaround as a shopping cart and payment for my site. I can try to use the second form, as suggested, and have the data populated from the first one. But it'd become a workaround of the workaround, making it a bit more complicated, or so I think.

In my form I'm using Paypal Standard, I wonder is there any chances other Paypal method like Paypal Commerce, Paypal Checkout or Paypal Express would work on edit URL ? Or maybe some other payment tools ?

    Many thanks.

Unfortunately, there is really no way to edit the selected items in the payment field. We have a purchase order that does not require payments from the user, you can edit the items at the submission edit link.

However, this integration does not collect any payments from the user.

    Hi,

I just followed your advise with passing data to the second form, and it looks pretty good -- two forms combined somewhat seamlessly. So the payment issue has been resolved.

I just have another small issue on this form. May I ask here ?

To the button "Proceed Payment", is it possible to make it wider, so it can contain longer text, say, Proceed with Payment ?

(now the longer text makes the text not aligned in one single line)

    Here's the form: https://www.jotform.com/edit/4672591103016671028

    Thanks.

    Hi,

While the original issue for this post has been resolved,  I have another issue which I think pretty much the same as the one in this URL: https://www.jotform.com/answers/462462-Edit-link-on-embedded-form

That is, I wonder is it possible to have the edited link embed on my site ?

The answer for this topic was posted many years ago, so first I'm not sure if it's updated or have a better way to work on it ?

And another thing is, I'm using two forms combined, where the second form gets pre-populated data from the first one, based on your suggestion above.

    First form:  https://www.jotform.com/build/193600715870458

    Second form: https://www.jotform.com/build/201568522756460

So this probably makes thing get complicated for have edit link embed in the form ?

But if possible, I'd like users to work from my site, not a third party URL.

Your help would be very helpful.

    Many thanks.
