Complex email notification

I have a large drop-down with about 50 names to choose from. Depending on which name they choose, I want to send an email to that person i.e. the person they choose. Obviously it would be ridiculous to have 50 different email rules. Can you think of a way that, if a person picks say "Fred" there is a way I can associate Fred's email to send a notification to him?

I was thinking to just include the email and not the name, however, the email often doesn't bare resemblance to their name.

    Hi @chadbates

In that case, I believe the best option is to use autoresponder instead of a standard email notification.

You could configure an autoresponder using the values from the dropdown field for the Recipient Email:

Please check this guide for further information:

Alternatively, you could include a dropdown field with their names as a reference for users, while keeping a hidden field with their emails for the autoresponder. I that case, you would have to create conditional logic between the two fields (names and emails), which could take a little longer for 50 entries.

Here you will find more information regarding conditional logic:

I hope it helps. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
