time out issue with app

    The app keeps timing out and requesting me to log back in all the time.  I also cannot use kiosk mode because it keeps timing out.  What can i do?

    Could you let us know if you are using the Android app or the iOS app?

    Are you currently using the latest version of the app? If not, please try updating the app and then login.

    Could you try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it once again?

    Let us know if the issue still persists.

    I'm using the device on Android. I believe it is the most up-to-date
    because I recently downloaded it.
    The park is really frustrated is I'm trying to set up the kiosk mode on a
    tablet, Android tablet, and it keeps timing out. So it requires someone to
    re login every few minutes.

    Hi,

    I have tried replicating the issue in my phone but I am unable to do so, Does the issue happen when using the app regularly or only when using kiosk mode?


    What is the tablet that you are using?

    Both. So in kiosk mode, it stays on for about 30 min then says we need to
    relog into the app. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Inch (T510) 32
    GB.

    Hello,

    Just for testing purposes, if you have any other device, please try it and let us know if the issue still persists. I tested the JotForm Mobile app on my android phone and it is working fine.

    Also, please check if the JotForm Mobile App is updated. If you do not have offline submissions, please try removing the app and install it again and see if the issue persists.

    I'm also unable to reproduce the issue you're getting? May we know what version are you using? version can be found in the app's settings. The version I'm currently using is 1.12.13.

    Also, as my colleague suggested, is there a way you can try it out on a different device? and see if the issue will still remain?

    It does this on the phone and tablet after about 15 min


    I am trying to make a check-in kiosk, so it needs to stay logged in

    Please try this:

    1. Update the JotForm Mobile App.

    2. Update your device settings and try to disable the Auto Screen Off or Lock screen.

    3. Make sure you have stable internet.

    4. Open Kiosk Mode by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/blog/what-is-kiosk-mode/

    If the issue still persists, please let us know so we can check it further.

    the jot app is on version 1.12.9 and there are not updates for the tablet. 

     Also, is there a way to have the app reset if it has not been used for a 1 min? I just dont want someone to start the form, and then leave, and leave their info on the screen.
