I have a jotform with several fields, some free to fill in, some required to fill in.
After submission, the user receives an email, containing whatever fields of that jotform I want to be included in that email, plus a link to the original jotform so that he can add or update info to any of the fields of the jotform submitted.
My question :
I want to prevent the user from updating or modifying certain fields already containing info. Example : I don't want the user to be able to change his his required name, or change his required age after he submitted the form the first time.
Ways I can think of doing this is by :
- linking to the jotform, but the linked jotform this time doesn't show certain fields (the ones I don't want to be modified)
- using a parameter when setting up the original jotform, blocking certain fields from being edited after first submission (the fact that they then are still viewable via the link is OK)
Is there some way to achieve this via properties, or can a code be added to the link so that this is achieved ?
finally : a great job well done with V3 !!!!
