Voice Recorder widget: Ability to have the recorded audio embedded into Submissions like the 'Take Photo' widget

Hi JotForm !

I'm a French in Northern California and I have been playing around this evening with JotForm....  You have intrigued me !   I see so much potential in using Jotform in the fall semester !

The disappointment I have is that your Voice Recorder Widget doesn't produce a recording on the submitted form.  Instead, there is a link to the 3rd party site that created the widget.  In order to hear the recording, you have to click on the link and it is downloaded to my computer.

I'm sure I'm not the first..but, it would be AMAZING if the student's recording were actually embedded into the submitted form (much like the photo which is taken with the photo widget) 

I'm wondering if I'm making sense.

Hello Brian! The recorded audio is being saved as well served from our servers only. Following is the sample file link format:

I have escalated your suggestion as a Feature Request to the concerned department. If this gets implemented, you'll know it through an email which will be sent via this thread.

i don’t have many bullet points on my technological wish list but having embedded audio responses on jotform rather than downloadable wav files would make creating online oral exams with jotform an excellent teacher tool.

I'm reconnecting with you at the end of June 2020

I'm still very curious whether my escalated request was received and understood.

Just to remind you, I would love to be able to click and listen to audio mp3 responses from students on their submitted jotform.  Presently, jotform only generates a URL that redirects me to the recording.  It would be much better to hear the recording directly from the form

I'm planning for a return to school in mid-August and I'd like to have jotform a part of my online tools repertoire for receiving audio responses from my students.
