My summer camp registration form sometimes creates duplicate submissions for one submission and I cannot figure out why. This is a major problem as registration for summer camp opens in the morning and there is a widget (Ticket Purchase) that has limits on how many people can register for sessions. So if there is a duplicate registration submission... then one person is counted twice for registration and that is NOT good.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi there, @PenderCounty!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered.
One very known reason of receiving duplicate submissions from same respondent is reloading/refreshing the thank-you page whose URL is usually "https://submit.jotform.com/submit/{FORM_ID}/".
One very effective method to stop this from occurring is enabling the "Unique Submission" feature. It will prevent form respondents from making duplicate/multiple submissions through your form, this guide will clear it all up form you.
Also, redirecting to your own custom thank-you URL will definitely be a solution to solve this issue. You can add your own page as custom thank you URL in form or you can build a new form with text field to display thank-you message. Once the form is submitted, respondent will be redirected to a different page and reloading it will just refresh the new page so no data will be available for re-submission.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi,
The duplicate submissions problem is now resolved. We added some preventive measures to help deter unwanted resubmissions of the previous entry. This should not happen again.
Thanks!
