Why are we receiving duplicate submissions?

    Hello, I occasionally will get the same submission more than once.  For example, I received a submission at 13:00 and then again at 16:54.  Several months ago, I received 4 submissions that were identical and not submitted 4 times by our customer - he only submitted once.  Any suggestions?

    We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. Could you check with the users how the first submissions were sent i.e., using a mobile device or a PC? Also, let us know if the form embedded on any of your web pages.

    Generally, the issue may occur when the thank you page is reloaded on the browser. When the mobile browser is reopened at a later time, it usually reloads the page that was already opened earlier. The user is required to close the tab after submitting the form. This might also happen with PC browser as well. Is the form embedded on any of your web pages?

    As a workaround, you may consider redirecting the form to your web page to avoid the issue. You may also set Unique Submission or Unique question option in the form settings to restrict the users to send duplicate submissions. Also, please add the Get user agent widget to the form so that the user's browser information shall be captured in the submission that might help in isolating the issue.

    The duplicate submissions problem is now resolved. We added some preventive measures to help deter unwanted resubmissions of the previous entry. This should not happen again.
