When transferring data from Jotform to Microsoft Sharepoint list, dates are set incorrect

    Hi,

We have a flow that automatically creates a line in our Sharepoint list whenever a form has been completed. All data is set correctly into the Sharepoint list, however the dates are not.

Whenever a date field is put into the Sharepoint list, it actually subtracts a day, so when in the form, a user would set the date as 01-04-2000 (being April first, 2000), it will return in our Sharepoint list as 31-03-2000 (being March 31st, 2000).

Do you guys have any experiences with this issue? In our Sharepoint site, the date settings are set correctly to our timezone.

    Thanks in advance,

    Daniel

Can you please confirm if this is the form related to the issue?

Or, are you experiencing this issue to all of your forms?

Also, are you sending the data through webhooks? Have you tried updating your Jotform account timezone as well?

Can you please try and see if that will make a difference?

    Hi Jherwin,

The timezone is indeed set correctly in our Jotform account.

The data is being transferred into our Microsoft Flow through their built in Jotform connector.

    Best regards,

    Daniel

Hello Daniel - There is a function in MS Flow to convert timezones. Please refer to this thread: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Forms-and-Flow-having-different-Time-zones/td-p/458188

You can add an action and search for Date Time. You may refer to this complete guide: https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/working-with-dates-and-times/

Thanks John, however this is not a problem of different timezones as the JotForm timezone is set to UTC -1 and the Flow/Sharepoint list timezone has also been set to UTC -1.

Unfortunately, we do not have a SharePoint account to test this issue. Is it possible for you to contact Microsoft support regarding this issue?

I checked our forum support and I don't see an issue related to the issue you're experiencing. Maybe they can help/fix the issue on the submission date.

    Hi Jherwin,

No problem, will post at Flow community indeed as the problem seems to be in the Flow/with Microsoft.

    Thanks for the speedy responses.
