Changed the email sender to the NO REPLY as suggested and the reply address to the form submitters email. Started to work OK yesterday but today nothing comes through. When I go to the submissions list and ask a form to be forwarded to me nothing comes through.
I can copy the form data into the clipboard and use it but it's a pain to say the least!
What's the progress on this fix?
I have tried the suggested solutions, but where it ask for send to address still gives me an error of "BLOCKED".
Im in the middle of a registration campaign and this is causing a major problem with no notificatins. Reciepents of the notifications had IMMEDIATE actions.
Do I have to tweak all my forms?
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately you mail ID was under our bounce List for some reason. Now I removed your mail ID from bounce list. Please Try now and let us know if you still have the problem. Please let us know the email ID in the answer if you still have the issue.
OK I just tested it and it seems to be OK, just to be sure the emails the forms are coming to are: email@example.com
You may want to do a search of your list for any email addresses @nyautofest.com as I sometimes use others depending on the form.
firstname.lastname@example.org was in the bounce list and I have removed it. Would you be able to state specifically which usernames @nyautofest you wish us to check?
Also, for your convenience, here is a copy of the message posted on our forum:
"Dear Fellow JotForm Members,
We are saddened at the moment to inform everyone that as of yesterday we were forced to temporarily disable the Email Sending for Email Alerts that were being used by Custom Sender Addresses. The problem was caused by some of our Discovered Users that we found to be abusing our Email Notification System. As a result this caused some of our mailing services to be added to some DataBase Blacklists which is the reason why several of you have now ended up in our Bouncelist unfortunately.
Our Development Team is already aware of the Issue and they are currently working on fixing this as soon as possible! Please accept our most sincere apologies for the inconveniences this has caused everyone and we are very grateful for any patience until then.
For now and as a Temporary Solution please switch your Email Notifications and Autoresponders to our recommended sender: email@example.com. Note: You can still use custom email as Reply-to Email though. You may also open a thread listing your emails affected and we will check and remove them from the bouncelist if they are in there."
Abajan, I've switched all my forms to firstname.lastname@example.org
The adviced in our main page state taht you use email@example.com as the sender email address to prevent this issue. Because as for the moment the issue with custom sender email addresses persist.
