Conditions with multiple actions question.Asked by kidslife on July 06, 2013 at 03:28 PM
I'm trying to create a form that allows people to register for an event. Included is allowing them to register children. I made a dropdown called "children?" and then assigned values of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Then I created full name fields and renamed them child 1, child 2, etc.
Then I created a condition that says if "children?" is equal to 1 then show "child 1" - That worked great.
Then I created a condition that says if "children?" is equal to 2 then show "child 1", show "child 2" - This one only shows "child 2" when it seems to me that it should be showing both name fields.
This continues as I set if equal 3 show 1, show 2, show 3, but only shows 3.
Thoughts or help are appreciated.
May I suggest that you used instead the Number field in replacement to the dropdown field you used on the Children logic condition. Using the number field will allow you to use the "greater than" rules since it is a numerical value. The dropdown field is a string/text value only.
Using the Number field, the condition will be like this
Here is a test form that do this http://www.jotformpro.com/form/31869107078966
