A password field takes any entry that matches the validation test. How do I change/add password to the field?

    Hello alyeg,

If you are referring to using a password field. There is a password box under Power Tools on the left panel.

If you are referring to something else, it would be great if you can explain further what your inquiry means so for us to properly address your inquiry.

    Thanks and warm regards.

    Hey Guys

How does the password field work?  It seems to be just the same a text field, no?  I guess it is but you just have to add a condition to it?

    Thanks!

    Hello jaycw7,

The password field works just like the text box, except that it is masked when you type your characters in it.  It cannot be used as an personal authentication tool (an individual username with his own password) as JotForm cannot do actual login processes.  Doing do will be considered as phishing.

What you're describing is like using a common password for all your website visitors, I believe this can be allowed.  But we cannot guarantee that you won't be automatically suspended by our system.  So you might want to explain properly how your form works to have it reactivated.

Please let us know if you have other concerns.

It would also be great if you can start a new thread topic next time.

    Thanks,

    Liyam

You can explain it after your account gets autosuspended.  A form can be seen where you can fill up to inform us that you cannot access your account.

For now, I have whitelisted your forms so this won't get scanned, nor auto-suspended.

Please let us know if you have other concerns.

    Thanks.
