    Can you post a sample php script for reporting data which has been transferred via web-hook to a new spreadsheet to a database?

    Yes, I'd be extremely interested in this as well.  I think I understand the potential of webhooks in theory, but I don't know how to translate that into reality.

     

    Specifically, I'd be extremely interested a reality whereby webhooks could be used to get data that could be imported into Excel.  The Excel format, without having to download the results of the forms in .xls format over and over and over again, extra especially during those times when that function breaks down for a while on the jotform end.

     

    Is there a way/script/method of doing that with webhooks?  ???

    Is that asking too much?

    Also:

    I've been testing my most important Jotform with a couple of webhooks, and they only seem to work periodically.

    And:

    I would like to add some columns to the google spreadsheet that the aformentioned Jotform is supposed to be downloading data into.  The columns contain formulas to further work the data.  Each time I have tried to add columns to the google spreadsheet the data integrates into, it seems to break the form, and I have to break the integration and re-set it.

    Is is not OK to add columns to the spreadsheet in google spreadsheets that my form copies to?

    -Sorry to say that for now that we cannot provide you a sample script or guide that would accomplish this function. But rest assured that we'll be doing our best to come up with that and share it to you or to everyone.

    -It's okay to add a column. But we advice not to edit anything from the Headers or Form Field labels to the Spreadsheet. Can you please let us know the form URL so we can check? Also, we do not recommend field labels that contains numbers, symbols and special characters. Specially, when the form will be integrated to Google Spreadsheet. Our current Integration API doesn't support such.

    Thank you for your reply Welvin.  I look forward to seeing the PHP script when it is ready.  

     

    I have looked at the form, which is embedded in a Wordpress page.  The website is not live yet, so I can't give you the url.  I did remove a question mark in one of the data field "questions", not sure if a question mark is a special character or not, but just to be on the safe side...

    If you want to check out the form it is the AGA New Box listing form on my set of 3 Jotforms (so far).

    I'd like to figure out what the problem is with the webhooks, one is a blank google spreadsheet and so far no submissions have copied to it.  The second is a copy of the original integrated google spreadsheet, I figured it would just transfer the new data to it, and I could put my formula columns at the end of the jotform columns.  No luck with that either.

You can also find example php script here but not related to saving database, it's a simple send email notification: http://www.jotform.me/answers/238112

    Regarding on the spreadsheet issue, our dev team had commited few fixes on the integration that filters some symbols and prefix numbers on the field labels. It may help if you could re-integrate your form to Google Spreadsheet.

    Note that, we do not recommend modifying any of the integrated spreadsheet, adding rows and columns, editing labels. It might break the the integration and there could be a higher chance that your spreadsheet would stop updating. About the passing spreadsheet data from one to another,  I think this would help though if the main spreadsheet isn't updating then the 2nd spreadsheet would be useless.
