Issue with Save and Continue

I have a 4-part form with each part sending data via the Thankyou redirect function to the next form where it pre-populates that form. If I Save and return to the draft form, the prepopulated data disappears, but any manually input data does show. How can I retain the prepopulated data and have it shown when resuming a saved draft form?

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I have checked your account and I see that you have a Rev 2.1, Rev 2.2, Rev 2.3, and Rev 2.4, which I can only assume the forms you are referring to.

To my understanding, you are passing data from one form to another after a submission. However, when a form is saved, the data that was passed over is not being saved. Is that correct?

I see that you are using JotForm Cards, can you give us an example of the data that were passed from another form but disappeared when the form is saved, please? Also, can you tell us how exactly are you saving the data on each form? I have checked the forms and the Continue Forms Later feature of each form is not enabled.

Yes, those are the forms. And the problem you describe is correct. I recently disabled the Continue Forms Later because of the problem, but I’d like to turn it back on.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I tested the issue described and that you have confirmed on a test HIPAA account and I was not able to reproduce the issue.

The data shown above is from a submission on a cloned version of your (initial) Rev2.1 form.

I have saved the data passed to the cloned version of your form, Rev2.2, using the Continue Forms Later Save button and the data are saved and not missing when I access the continue form link.

Even the Group ID, which is the submission id of the submission in Rev2.1 form, was saved.

Can you tell us the data that was passed via URL parameters but are not being saved using the Continue Forms Later feature in your forms?

I think the problem was a previous save on the 2.2 form during testing wasn’t cleared from memory or cookie which interfered with the process. I submitted the faulty draft and then repeated the process, which then displayed all the saved fields correctly.
