How to put a translated output value into a PDF?

I am currently working on a form where users will choose a value from a dropdown, or input their own text in a textbox.

The form will be connected to a pdf form generator, so the form output values will automatically feed through to the PDF.

For that reason, I would like to know if there is a way of replacing the input values with alternative output values?

For example, if someone chooses "Austrian" in a dropdown, I would like the output to be "Austriaca" instead of "Austrian".

Likewise, if it is possible, I would also like to know if it is possible for free text submissions to be translated and then the translated version would be the output.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi,

thank you for reaching out to us.

You can make any of your forms multilingual, by following this guide.

This way the person filling out the form will be able to choose a language on top.

You can also have different PDFs set up for different languages, and then you can choose the appropriate one if you want to send it to someone.

Translating the text a user manually types into a field is not possible at this moment. We can submit a feature request for you if you would like that.

I hope this helps, please let us know if you have any questions.
