Why does the email content portion not match my form

When I make changes on my form (build), sometimes the changes show on the Email Content portion (settings>emails>notification/auto responder) but other times they aren't picked up. I have to go through each and make the same changes three times (or more).

When the Email Notification is customized it will not automatically update when the form is edited. To resolve the issue, please delete the Email Notification and create a new one.
