Can we allow users to select a section of Google Maps and draw on it?

    Hi,

Within the form, can the form submitter select a section of Google maps then draw on it?

I am currently using Pronto Forms as well and they have a 'Sketch pad' where you can select a satellite image from Google maps to draw on. I would like to be able to do this within Jotform which I believe one of the best Prontoforms alternative.

I have attached a pronto form screen shots to help explain.

    Thanks for your help,

    Dylan

Unfortunately, no, we do not have widgets that allows you to draw on a Google Map.

However, you can use Annotate Picture widget so your users can upload an image and draw on it. Or you can also set a base picture where they can draw on.

Would this be something that could be developed? This would be relevant to most who use the forms for field work?

We have raised a feature request on your behalf. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any time frame for when it will be implemented, but we will let you know if we have any updates on this.
