Google drive integration and edit link

When a form is submitted, it is linked to the google drive.  There is a PDF that it submits.  I understand that an edit link isn't produced until it is actually submitted, but is there a work around so I can have the edit link on that form for easy access?

Hi! There is a workaround. As you already know that the submission link can't be used in the form because it is not yet generated. But when this submission is being moved to the GDrive, at that time, we have the Submission ID.

You won't be able to put in this Submission ID into the generated PDF content, but you can name your GDrive PDF after its Submission ID (as shown in the screenshot below).

Once you have your submission id, you can easily prepare the edit submission link yourself (as shown below):
    1. As per the screenshot above, your file name that is sent to GDrive has the name format: [SUBMISSION-ID].pdf
    2. The format of the edit submission link is: https://www.jotform.com/edit/[SUBMISSION-ID]

All you need to do is, put in the submission id in the edit URL and you'll have your edit submission link.

I hope this helps. For further queries, feel free to get back to us.
