Save and continue late option: Add the option to prevent the creator of the form from recieving the continue draft pop up

I'm building a form. Why is it that now when I click the Preview Form toggle it now pops this window up?

I don't recall this happening before and it's confusing. If I click discard & start over I'm afraid I'll loose my entire form I've been building. If so how could that be? Is this pop up window expected now? If not, how can I get it to stop appearing when I click the Preview Form toggle?

    Thank you,

    John Bello

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to remove the message which shows "You have a draft of this form.". This message is shown if save and continue later feature is enabled in form and user has a draft saved.

You can either discard it and start a new submission or continue with your form with saved data.

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

While I do have the save and continue later feature enabled, that doesn't appear to work if I understood you. I clicked discard and it still pops up when I toggle Preview Form the next time. Let me be clear, I am the maker of the form, not a user trying to fill it in. I don't see why this pop up window should be appearing for me.

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, once the save and continue later is activated via the button on the form it automatically saves a session for the particular user regardless if the creator or just a regular submitter, disabling the "Save & Continue Later" will remove this.

If you wish we can make a feature request to have an extra setting/option for the form creator to be exempted from this functionality, however, we cannot provide a timeframe of when this request will be developed and implemented.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best.

I understand better thank you. And yes, I do think it would be a worthwhile feature to have the form creator exempted from that functionality. Thank you for offering to submit that feature.

    Hi,

I have now forwarded this as a feature request to our backend team. Please note that we can't give an ETA for when this will be implemented. Feature requests depend on the workloads of our developers and popularity among our users. But rest assured we will inform you in this thread once this feature becomes available.
