    Dear Sir/Madam,

I have just created a form utilizing barcodes. The barcodes work on my colleagues' android phone but did not work with my iphone X running on Apple OS 13.5.1. When trying to scan the barcodes on my iphone, the "Scan Barcode" change to "Browse File" without showing any result. When using Android phone, upon scanning the "DO" barcode field, result shows S90277 which is correct. You can also see the working submitted form (Submission ID: 4683487164329071847) using Android phone. Attached is the screen shot of the message and the barcode for your testing. I am running on Chrome browser instead of Safari when using the form. I look forward to your kind assistance.

    Best regards,

    Jimmy

    Hello there,

I tested the form however I was able to replicate the issue:

    1592572818Ammonia Cylinder (Full) Outgoi

Can you provide the exact bar code so we can scan it and see if the issue persists?

    Thank you.

     Hi Kenneth,

That's interesting. I am using Chrome on my iOS 13.5.1. Did you use the same too? Attached are the barcodes that I used which is the standard code 128 barcode. Thanks.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

I was able to replicate the issue in your form when I tested it in the Google Chrome browser on my iPhone 6.

Let me escalate the issue to our backend team. We will keep you updated on this.

Until you may use the Safari browser to fill out the form.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.

Thanks Roneet for the confirmation. Yes, it works on Safari after testing. So, the problem is that the form does not work on Chrome. In order not to hold back our project, we shall use Safari for now. Thank you again.

    Hi Jimmy,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. The widget works on all browsers on Android devices. On the iOS system, there is a WebRTC issue on not native browsers (Chrome, Firefox) and that's why we use the "Browse file" mode for supporting the widget on these browsers on iOS which also allows to open device camera and take a photo, it also allows to upload already taken barcode photos for the further scanning. We appreciate your understanding.

    Regards,

    Widgets Team

    Dear Hayk,

Noted on the constraints. That's fine. We shall use Safari instead. Thanks for the effort.

    Best regards,
