General question about SSL

    Hi,

Let's say I have a link to my jotform somewhere inside my website pages. When someone clicks on that link is that going to be an ssl connection ?

Would that be using jotform's ssl certificate ? (as opposed to the website provider's ssl certificate ?)

Does the hosting website provider need to be any particular type or have any particular features to enable this secure connection ?

    Thanks.

JotForm forms are loaded indeed through an SSL connection, if you plan to just use the hyperlink on your site, it's not required to secure your site too; however, if you want to embed the form on your site, we recommend making your site secure as well.

You may also check our security page for more details: https://www.jotform.com/security/
