How do I duplicate a submission with the previous order?

    Hi There,

My form takes requests for Food Parcels from our website and I have it produce a pdf delivery note for the volunteers to action and deliver.  This all works great.

We have clients who require repeat food parcels every week and I'm wondering if there is a way to easily create a duplicate request from an existing record.

The 'Edit' feature would work for us, IF it created a whole new record but it seems to just change the existing record.

The only solution I can see just now is to build a 'pre-populated form' link from the data in a Google Sheet and allow our admin users to click this to create a new record with the exact same details as the intial entry.

I wonder if there is an easier way?

I seem to recall there was an option somehwere to create a NEW entry from an edited form but I cannot find anything like that just now.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Pete

You can follow either of the two methods to repeat the orders:

    1. You can fill up in the same browser where you have filled the order details so that it would auto-fill the previously filled details.

    Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Autofill-on-Forms

    2. Alternatively, you can use "URL parameter" feature to pre-populate the form field by adding the URL in the thank you page. you can also use this app to generate a prepopulated form URL

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks.
