Translation is not saved

    I'm working on a global survey, and I've encoded the translation for multiple languages. 

    For some languages (e.g., Croatian), the translations are never saved although I've encoded the translated texts several times.

    For some some languages, there's a few select lines that's not saved also even after several tries.

    What's happening?  Please help!

    I cloned your form, added Croatian as another language, and was able to save it.

    Could you please specify those "few select lines that are not saved also even after several tries" so we can investigate further?

    Here's an example (Russian):

    I added "Поддержка HRIS: " to "Укажите, почему вы потратили больше времени на эту роль/сферу ответственности."  

    When I exited the Russian translation then went back, the text is back to "Укажите, почему вы потратили больше времени на эту роль/сферу ответственности."

    As for the Croatian translation, I tried to add text again, and after saving it and reloading the page, the translation is empty!

    It looks like all my survey forms (two of them at this time) won't save any edits to the translations!

    I was able to replicate the issue. The translation settings are not saving certain changes. I have raised this to our back-end team for further investigation. We will update you on this thread as soon as possible.

    We haven't heard anything yet from our developers regarding the issue being reported in this support ticket and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience. As soon as we receive an update on this, we will inform you right away.

    In the meantime, can you please try to clone your form: 201731954858464 and do the translation in the clone form?

    Please give it a try and let us know if the issue persists in the clone version as well.

    Thanks for the response.

    Here's what I observed:  when I encode the new translations and exit that "translation settings page" to go preview the live/production survey, the encoded translations display.

    But when I go back to the translation settings section to add more texts, the latest edit disappear (goes back to the previous version).  When I preview the live/production survey again, its seems to go back to the version I had yesterday at 5AM EST.

    By the way, I think I missed to answer your question/suggestion earlier about cloning the form.

    Yes, I did clone the form: first, using my Vertiv account; second, using a different Jotform account.  In both tests, the issue still persisted (that is, the translations kept on reverting to an earlier version).

    Sorry to pound on your door but our global survey is happening 12 hours from now.  We should have been done with the translation work yesterday if not for this issue.  Can we get this resolved today?

    Again, apologies in advance for pounding on your door.  Ideally, my team is launching our global survey in 8 hours.  Any updates on this issue?  As much as possible, we don't want to resort to half-translated survey.

    Hi Vertiv,

    This issue is fixed now.
    I have cloned your form and tried to add the phrase "Поддержка HRIS" to;

    and I was able to save that successfully.

    Please give it a try and let us know if you have any problem with saving new translation.
